Changes in Leadership at Ascension Christian Elementary

It is exciting to announce we are making some very important changes at Ascension Christian for the upcoming school year. With the increasing growth of our schools on both campuses, we needed to restructure how we manage our business to assure continued growth in our Christian Culture and in educational excellence.

Beginning with the 2023-24 school year, Angela Duhe will take on a new role as the Assistant Superintendent of Administration for Ascension Christian Schools (ACS). Her new position will require oversight of our administrative services and operations in all three schools. Her experience and dedication to excellence will provide the resources needed to promote unity, professionalism, and the achievement of school goals. Filing her spot as Campus Administrator will be Vicky Broussard. Mrs. Broussard has been with ACE for over 26 years and has all the relevant experience and tenacity to lead the required growth and development of the elementary campus. Moving into the Assistant Campus Administrator position will be Kristine Pipes. Mrs. Pipes has been with ACE over 13 years. Her leadership and dedication to high achievement will support the growth of our students in academics and Christian character. Finally, Shelia Catlin will take on the role of Professional Development and Technology Coordinator for ACS. In partnership with the Campus Administrators, she will provide support in the use of technology and professional development to improve teaching and learning. 

These very important role changes in our school will catapult us to new heights. Please join me in congratulating these outstanding educators on their new assignments. I am certain you will enjoy and benefit from their hard work.
